1. What Ashta is, and isn't
The Ashta Project is a research cooperative and peer community. Its core unit is the Cluster: eight people, matched across timezones, who meet regularly by video session, each one booked from when its members can make it, have that session recorded and transcribed with speech attributed by name, and together declare and track measurable intentions over months.
Ashta measures honestly and publishes what it finds. It does not claim to have proven any particular mechanism behind the outcomes it measures. A criterion being met, or not met, on a given date is reported as exactly that, a measured result, not a verdict on whether intention, telepathy, or anything else “works.” It is not a medical service, a therapy, a financial product, or a substitute for professional advice of any kind (§8).
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- The information you give us, your name, contact details, and profiling answers, must be accurate and your own. Creating an account in someone else's name, or submitting someone else's data as your own, is not permitted.
- Sign-in is passwordless: a one-time link sent to your registered email. Keep access to that inbox secure, anyone with access to it can access your account.
- You're responsible for keeping your contact details current so Cluster scheduling and important notices reach you.
3. Clusters: membership and commitment
Placement into a Cluster is proposed by matching your profiling answers against the current pool of members (see §10 of our Privacy Policy). Once seated, each session is booked from the days and times you and the rest of your Cluster mark yourselves available, one session at a time rather than a fixed weekly slot; attendance and participation are a matter of commitment between you and your Cluster, not a contractual guarantee we make on your behalf. A Cluster's status, forming, active, paused, or graduated, reflects where it actually is, honestly, rather than a marketing framing.
You can leave a Cluster at any time. Leaving frees your seat for someone else and ends your future participation in that Cluster's sessions; it does not, on its own, erase the historical record of sessions you already attended (see §5 and our Privacy Policy §6 on retention), use account erasure (§10) if you want your data removed entirely.
4. Recorded sessions and consent
When a Cluster session is recorded, the audio is captured, transcribed, and each utterance is attributed by name to the member who spoke it. This is central to how the research works, and it means what you say in a session is identifiable, by name, to the rest of your Cluster and to Ashta's research team.
Everyone currently seated in your Cluster can listen to the whole meeting recording while its audio is retained, under the same access rule as transcripts and notes. Your consent to session recording is given with these terms and is a condition of taking part in a Cluster. You can withdraw it at any time at /profile/consent; withdrawing it ends your seat in your Cluster and prevents future seating and session entry. To delete past recordings and transcript lines, use full account erasure in your consent settings. The transcript is covered by this same consent rather than a separate one, so there is no setting that keeps you recorded while discarding your transcript. See our Privacy Policy §4 for the full mechanics.
Do not record, screenshot, or otherwise capture a session outside the platform's own recording mechanism, and do not share another member's recorded audio, transcript, or personal disclosures outside your Cluster without their explicit permission. What's shared in a Cluster stays in that Cluster.
5. Research and publication
Aggregate, de-identified results from Clusters are the research Ashta publishes, and a Cluster exists to generate them. Inclusion of your de-identified data in that dataset is a condition of taking part in a Cluster, in the same way recording is (§4): you consent to it with these terms, you can withdraw it at any time at /profile/consent, and withdrawing it ends your seat (Privacy Policy §5). We never fabricate, embellish, or selectively suppress a result to make an outcome look stronger than it measured; a null finding is published with the same honesty as a positive one.
6. The gated resource centre
Members who hold a Subconscious Surgery Mastermind entitlement additionally get access to a gated resource centre of videos, processes, and techniques. That content is provided for your own personal use as a member and may not be recorded, redistributed, resold, or shared outside your own account. Access is tied to your entitlement and ends if that entitlement lapses or your account is closed.
7. Conduct within a Cluster
Clusters work because they're a safe, honest space. In every session:
- Treat every other member's disclosures as confidential to the Cluster.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or attempts to solicit, sell to, or proselytise other members.
- No impersonation, and no attempt to manipulate a Cluster's recorded data or a declared intention's outcome.
- Report a concern about another member's conduct to hello@theashtaproject.com. We take these seriously and will act on them, including removing a member from a Cluster where warranted.
8. No medical, financial, or legal advice
Nothing on Ashta, a profile report, a Cluster conversation, a declared intention, or a measured result, is medical, psychological, financial, investment, or legal advice, and none of it is a diagnosis. If you're dealing with a medical or mental-health concern, please see a qualified professional. Income-band and net-worth-band data we collect (Privacy Policy §2) is used only as a matching input; we never give financial advice based on it.
9. Intellectual property
The Ashta platform, its report-generation engine, its written materials, and the gated resource centre content (§6) are Ashta's property or licensed to Ashta. You keep ownership of what you personally say and write, your essays, your intentions, your words in a session, but you grant Ashta a licence to process, transcribe, store, and (where you've separately consented, §5) publish it in de-identified form, for as long as your account and consents remain in effect.
10. Suspension, termination, and erasure
You can close your account and request full erasure at any time, at /profile/consent, see our Privacy Policy §9 for exactly what that deletes and how long it takes.
We may suspend or terminate a member's access for a serious breach of §7 (conduct), for providing knowingly false information at signup (§2), or for using the platform in a way that endangers other members or the integrity of the research. We'll tell you why, except where doing so would itself create a safety risk.
11. Liability
Ashta is provided as a research and community platform, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and without any warranty as to the outcomes you or your Cluster will experience, the whole premise of the project is that outcomes are measured honestly, not guaranteed. To the fullest extent the law allows, Ashta is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections your local law gives you, and nothing here removes your right to bring a claim in your own courts where local consumer law guarantees that right.
13. Changes to these terms
We'll update this page as the platform changes, and update the “last updated” date at the top when we do. For a material change we'll email members directly rather than rely on you re-reading this page.
14. Contact
